Hi there!

My name is Nicole Griffiths

but you can call me Ms. G !

With over 10 years of public school teaching experience in grades K-5, I know how much learning happens in those first 5 years of school.

I have also seen how factors such as class sizes, classroom complexity and post pandemic learning gaps can have an effect on student progress.

Children are exactly that... children. They learn best through play and integration of learning with things that they find interesting or fun. Learning happens when new connections are made to previously existing ones. So a connection will more likely be made during a game than while completing repetitive tasks.

I want to work with your child to develop their abilities, tap into what they already know, and help them grow as learners and as people.

Tutoring sessions offer student specific ​lesson planning, one to one or small ​group lesson delivery, and progress ​reports. All materials and resources are ​included in each session.

Whether your child is working towards ​one specific goal or improving an ​existing skill, lessons can meet your ​child where they are and grow with ​them.

Homeschooling Support

Homeschooling is a wonderful way to offer your ​child a more personalized education experience. ​Parents, family, and community members have a ​wealth of knowledge that they can share with ​children to help them grow, learn, and develop. ​However, sometimes there are subjects or skills ​that parents may not feel comfortable teaching ​themselves. This is where I can help!

Often these include core subjects such as reading, ​writing, math, and science.

However, homeschooling allows the opportunity to get ​creative and can be designed to incorporate outdoor ​learning, life skills, community, sustainability, cultural ​connections, or anything you think would enrich your ​child’s learning experience.
